[gradsusr] Calculate Seasonal correlation

Dear group,


Say I have 2 data sets, namely CMAP precipitation and SST from the period of
1979-2009 and I would like to calculate correlation between them. It is
easier to calculate the correlation coefficient over the whole year period
by using tcorr function.

My problem is how to calculate the seasonal correlation between them, for
example calculate the correlation coefficient only for summer (JJA) or
winter time (DJF)
