you can open the files and use different commands to analyze the data sets.

For example:

sdfopen d:\1990s.nc
sdfopen d:\2030s.nc
set t 1
set lat 0 60
set lon 10 100
set gxout shaded
set mpdset hires

display var.1-var.2
where *var* is the name of variable in your files,,,may be temp.
