[gradsusr] Problem with NCEP Reanalysis "air.mon.mean.nc" file

Hi,

I downloaded the NCEP Reanalysis 1948-01-01 to 2010-12-01 monthly mean file "air.mon.mean.nc" the data are given in degC.

The data from 1948 t0 1955 are fine, but from 1955-04-01, there are problems, the data appears to be around 127 degC all the way.

Are you aware of this issue?

How do you rectify this?
