Please see the http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/supplibs.html instructions on how to build the supplemental libraries for GrADS.

Setting the LIBS environment variable is a key to building both netCDF and GrADS.

Setting the location for the netCDF areas is also important in the GrADS ./configure operation
--with-netcdf=somepath
--with-netcdf-include=someincludedir
--with-netcdf-libdir=somelibdir

I failed to link netcdf to GrADS. It said in the configuration:


checking for udunits.h... (cached) no
- netcdf-4 disabled

- netcdf disabled


But I had netcdf installed and it worked fine. Can you help me with this problem?
