[gradsusr] color vectors by magnitude in grads

Dear all,
 can anyone please tell me how to color vectors by magnitude in  a grads
plot. If I change the color using set ccolor command then uniformly all the
vectors get changed to the new color. i don't want that. A smaller magnitude
should show a given color and a larger magnitude some other color etc.
