[gradsusr] GrADS to GRIB-1

Greetings Grads Users,

I have a GRADS-readable dataset with its corresponding *ctl file. I need to
convert this file to GRIB-1 format.

I have access to Grads version "v2.0.a8".  Is there a relatively simple way
to do this from this version of Grads (I'm pretty sure I saw in the archives
Wesley E.'s new GRADS-to_GRIB2 script, but have not seen anything for GRIB1)
or is OpenGRADS/lats4D the only way forward?
