[gradsusr] Problem Using g2ctl in GrADS 2.0.a7.1

You can't run g2ctl inside grads. It is a perl script that you run at the unix command prompt.

I am using Grid Analysis and Display System (GrADS) Version 2.0.a7.1 

I wanted to generate a ctl file from a grb2 data file and I got the error below: 

ga-> g2ctl -o pgbh01.gdas.197904.grb2 > pgbh01.gdas.197904.ctl 
Unexpected else. Incorrect if block nesting. 
Error occurred scanning line 274 
In file g2ctl 

Please help accordingly!
