Hi Jose and sorry for the delay.

Yes, my production machines are Freebsd 7 on AMD64...So I imagine that
there's no hope to have a9 binaries.
Upgrading to Freebsd 8 currently is not an option but perhaps I could 
try to obtain a Linux machine...
