  Dear Liu,
  Please note that when using lats4d in the 1.x versions of GrADS you have to use "grandsnc" executable, instead of classic "gradsc".
  The script is avalilabe here: http://opengrads.org/wiki/index.php?title=Lats4D
  I hope it helps you. Please let me know if you need a practical example on how to use the script.
