Kevin,
You didn't define what you consider to be a completed map but, from the
looks of the map you sent, it would appear that you have missing data in one
or more of your parameters. This could also occur if you used a masking
function at some point. The const( ) function may help by re-defining any
missing data (as zero, for example) so that they are included in the plot
and perhaps eliminate the boxy appearance.
Otherwise, without knowing how you computed or plotted the map, I can't be
of much help here. A basic script or command log would help a lot. Did you
get any error responses when you plotted it?
