theta-e and cape

Hello users,

I've simulated surface theta-e and cape to thunderstorm events in 
Brazil. The values of theta-e vary from 300 to 312 K and of cape, from 
500 to 2500 J/kg. What is the variation range to these variables 
according thunderstorm and convection occurrence? Can someone indicate 
references in literature about this?
