How to plot cyclone track ?

Dear grads users,
I am new to grads software.
Can anybody please point out a solution for the following problem?

I have an atmospheric data set for an area (u wind, v wind, atmospheric
pressure in different levels) during a cyclone period, in grads usable
format (*.ctl and *.dat files) as well as in netcdf (*.nc file) format. .How
can I plot the cyclone track (with a line) accurately, by analysing this
data set?
