Using CYGWIN GrADS on vista and Windows 7

Dear Zilore

You need to change its setting to window xp compactibility mode. You can do that while installing or even after installation. Both option works fine with windows vista.

Subject: Using CYGWIN GrADS on vista and Windows 7


Hello gentle Grads people,
is there anyone who is able to download cygwin correctly on Vista or Windows 7? I have tried several times, each time startxwin .bat is not picked and the software does not seem to work correctly.
i have tried to run grads with native server, it also does not work on Windows 7. Any information or solution to this (other than going back to XP) would be appreciated>
