[gradsusr] problem with projection image

Hi,
Is there a way to project grads in native satellite image? I have this 
image (see 10Z12DEC2008_wind.png) but what I really need is something 
like this (see sat_image.png)

Can anybody give me some ideas on how to solve this problem?
