[gradsusr] Junk bytes - still a problem but not a problem.

Hi

Back in September I was posting about junk bytes at the start of GRIB2 files.

Following Jennifer's update I installed the New GrADS release 2.0.a9
superpack but still wasn't able to access all the variables in the GFS data I
downloaded through Curl which have something like

--496c19465efaf12eb
Content-type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-range: bytes 14208643-14554265/103164429

at the start before "GRIB". My impression is this still needs to be fixed.

Having spent too long (along with, I think, John Huddleston) battling with
Curl and Perl trying to set the header options, in the end I added a simple

wgrib2 gfsgrb2-hd -grib gfsgrb2

to my batch file after each download which rewrites the grib files without the
header - this only takes a second but the GRIB2 file created works perfectly.

So I'm back on track but perhaps that bug needs fixing...

Cheers
James
