[gradsusr] TMAVE function

To Whom it May Concern,

Is there a way to use the tmave function in order to make a composite of
data which for example, SST is greater than 25 and SLP is less than a
certain value.  In other words, filter data based on the criteria of two
separate variables?  I am trying to find the average wind speed over a
period of a year for days when the SST (sea surface temperature in a certain
area is greater than 25, while the average SLP (sea level pressure) in a
particular region is less than 900 mb.  Do I have to use a LOGIC function
such as AND here?  Anyway, let me know how to approach this with the
tmave/maskout functions.
