[gradsusr] interpolating wrf field to 1000 hPa surface

Hello grads users,
I want to interpolate the filed o3 in the wrf output to the 1000 hPa surface.  I have attached an image of
Issue.  I have tried Bob Hart's pinterp.gs script but I get the following error:

Non-numeric args to numeric operation
  Error occurred on line 106
  In file pinterp.gs<http://pinterp.gs>
Function not found: pinterp
  Error occurred on line 21
  In file 1000hPa.gs

Are these three lines correct:

"run pinterp.gs<http://pinterp.gs>"
"a = o3*1000"
"d a" pinterp(a,Lev,1000)
