[gradsusr] Problem with printim grads V2.0a8

I see in your CTL file that the time step is months; yet the name is uv.t12z.grp

Is the data monthly formatted or hourly formatted?

The printim for your requirements should be

'printim uv_fr.gif gif x800 x600'

you can find in attached file the .ctl file control and my grads script uvgds.gs<http://uvgds.gs>
the grib file  contain surface UV index, witch i want to extract these data over France domain and plot local departements with draw shp commande available in grads2.0a8, in gif files with 800*600 pixels dimension.
