Hello,
I'm trying to use bufrscan to eventually read a bufr file.
I placed a symbolic link to my bufr table in the directory with the data
file.
I first tried:
 bufrscan ./ layermean_bufr.20090921.18.nh

  and nothing seems to happen.

When I try:
   bufrscan -d ./ layermean_bufr.20090921.18.nh  I get the following output:

DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=/Users/howardb/bin/Darwin/Versions/2.0.a5.oga.4/i386/gex:/Users/howardb/grads/bin/gex:
  GADDIR=/Users/howardb/grads
  GADDIR=/Users/howardb/bin/Resources/Scripts
  GAUDXT=/Users/howardb/bin/Darwin/Versions/2.0.a5.oga.4/i386/gex/udxt
  GAVERSION=2.0.a5.oga.4

I also tried:
 bufrscan -dh ./ layermean_bufr.20090921.18.nh and get:
  Low level read error on BUFR file ./

I'm using grads version 2.0.a5 on a mac 10.5

Am I doing something wrong or is my bufr file bad?
Thanks!
Howard
