I am having another frustrating GrADS issue with GrADS2 on my mac. I am trying
to make more station plots. I have code to write out the station plot data. I
have done this before with no problem, but get an error now. I am attaching a
binary version of that file (fort.10) and a control file (fort.13). When I run
that through stnmap, I get an error:

stnmap -v -i fort.13
Name of binary data set: fort.10
Number of times in the data set: 1
    Number of surface variables: 0
Number of level dependent variables: 5

Starting scan of station data binary file.
Binary data file open: fort.10

Processing time step 1
Invalid station hdr found in station binary file
Possible causes: Invalid level count in hdr
                      Descriptor file mismatch
                      File not station data
                      Invalid relative time
                      Invalid sequential format
      levs = 0  flag = 27  time = 1.4013e-45

The contents of the file fort.13, in ascii, are:

   XXXXXX1 18.91675 -51.42435 0.000000 1 0

   XXXXXX2 18.91410 -51.41340 0.000000 1 0

   XXXXXX5 18.90230 -51.38280 0.000000 1 0
     2500.000 13.33000 82.55000 -25.01000 14.16000
   XXXXXX6 18.89670 -51.37290 0.000000 1 0
     3000.000 10.93500 80.70000 -25.08000 15.18000
   XXXXXX7 18.89175 -51.36465 0.000000 1 0
     3500.000 8.165000 68.85000 -23.95500 16.06000
   XXXXXX7 18.89175 -51.36465 0.000000 0 0

So, according to the first line, levs should be 1, flag should be zero, and time
should be zero. But the above from stnmap has very different values. Am I
missing something very fundamental from the documentation? I'm stumped.

Thanks,
Sim
