How to run eof script with grads win32e ?

Dear Gradsusers,

I'm using grads-1.8sl11-win32e and I've tryed to run the eof script in
grads.
The steps I've followed are:
- download and unzip the eof.s and binary eofudf from
http://www.atmos.ucla.edu/~munnich/Grads/EOF/
- copy these files in the win32e folder where also are the executable
gradsc, gradsnc  files
- copy of the working *.gad and *.ctl files in the same folder
- open gradsc, open the working file , set lat, lon , time , run eof.gs

It seems that other settings should be done as I received the following
error message:

LON set to 330 430
ga-> eof slp
      Writing data to transfer file...
      Executing eof binary ...
Syntax Error:  Invalid Operand
  'eofudf' not a variable or function name
  Error ocurred at column 1
DISPLAY error:  Invalid expression
  Expression = eofudf(slp,516,12,-1,70,slp_)
   eof.gs: First call of eofudf returned Error. STOP


Could you, plese, tell me how make the environment settings under windows
xp, how to set the udft.txt file, where should it be placed?
