How to use subwrd in version 2.0 ?

Hi there,

I am trying to use the built in function subwrd however I get the error:
grads-> res=subwrd(Time,4)
Syntax Error:  Invalid Operand
  'subwrd' not a variable or function name
  Error ocurred at column 1
DEFINE error:  Invalid expression.

How do I fix this. I am using version 2.0 i686 binary from the web on Suse 11.0 32bit
