TMI SST data in GRIB1 format for WRF

Hi all,
Is there any source to access the TMI daily SST data in GRIB1 format compatible with WRF
model?
If we convert the TMI binary to GRIB by lats4d, it is not exactly converting to GRIB1 it
seems to us. As a result model is not accepting the data.
