Vertical cross-section vectors plot

Dear all Grads' Users,

Does enybody know how to draw vectors in a vertical cross section plot?
For I think the command set gxout vector on 2-D varying enviroment,
where the vertical log z is one of the dimensions, is not enough.

Thank you foy some suggestions.
