Hernan,

The sleep command is a unix command. Using ! in a grads script tells grads to have the shell interpret whatever follows the ! symbol. So your problem is not related to grads. Check your PATH environment variable and see if /bin and /usr/bin are in your PATH. Most common unix commands are found in /bin or /usr/bin.

Could you help me with this doubt: is it possible that some Grads
versions do not recognize the instruction

'!sleep 1' in a .gs file ?

Because the same .gs runs properly in one computer but not it does not
in another, in the last one appears

sleep: not known.
