Calculating Percentiles in GrADS

Please,
Can someone explain me why this little script does not average air
temperature "air" from t=10 to t=100.
In the command window appears this message: *Unknown command ave*
I´m using *grads-1.8sl11-win32e *with a sdf file from NCEP (air.mon.mean.nc
).
