Dumping ASCII files using GrADS

I am a new user of GrADS, relatively unfamiliar with its functionality.
Does anyone out there know if GrADS can dump an ASCII text file converted
from an ingested IEEE binary file?  I'd like to take a 32-bit IEEE file
retrieved from the GODAE server, extract a few parameters and then output an
ASCII formatted file giving 'latitude,longitude,value' in simple columns.
Is this possible using GrADS?
