sigma coordinate

Hi!

I should plot data from netcdf files (output from an
ocean model) where:

1) only sea points are stored (I could plot 2d
variables using PDF FILE option)

2) sigma coordinate is used instead of z levels
(sigma=(z-surface elevation) / (bottom depth + surface
elevation): I can't plot 3d variables!!

I would like to plot using this sigma coordinate: does
anyone know if it's possible? How should I edit the
decriptor file?
