Hi Zhang,

since you are new to GrADS I recommend you to take a look at grib2ctl.pl,
it's a Perl program that try to catch informations from files in GRIB format
and build a control file (.ctl).

 APCP 0 99 total precipitation
is configured to access a flat binary file, and not a grib file. If grib2ctl
does not work you can try to change this, or at least use the wgrib to
convert it to a binary file.
