What command do i use in order to display the legend for the variable i am plotting

Dear Giannakos,

 go to http://www.iges.org/grads/gadoc/library.html
and download cbarn.gs or cbar.gs script.

after the display of your  variable,  you must run
cbar.gs/cbarn.gs script > run cbarn.gs.

try it.
