Problems with Color Bar

Hello GrADS Users, anybody can i help me??? i am trying to plot a color bar,
but without cbar.gs or cbarn.gs, because a need my proper colors scales for
some images... Then i am reading the *Controlling Colors in GrADS* but i
don't understand it...
Please. Can you help me???
