labeling vertical lines

I am attempting to plot lat and lon for some idealized WRF simulations I have been doing.  When I do a:

'set clab forced'
'd xlat'
'd xlong'

The latitude lines get labels but not the vertical longitude lines.  How do I go about getting labels on the vertical longitude lines?

Any help would be appreciated.
