You could also create a script that "sets grads off" before every display
w/in the script so you don't have to type it over and over:

e.g.:
the "grads_off.gs" contains one command:
'set grads off'

Next, use imprun in your script:


set imprun grads_off.gs

"This command sets up automatic execution of a Grads script before every
