Cross section

Hi there,

 

I see in the literatures, some authors define a line on the map and draw a
vertical cross section along this line, so the x-axis represent distance,
while the y-axis represent pressure levels. I am wondering, can I do this by
GrADS. It would be a hughly appreciated if some body has a script on this
issue.
