unknown command: 0

Dear,
I had the same message "Unknown command: 0"
in a skript.
I opened a file, read the content and closed it by
"close(filename)"
The message was suppressed, when assigning it to a variable:
"cl = close(filename)".

It seems, that a error code is returned, when closing a file.
If not assigned to a variable, GrADS does not know, what to
to with it...

I hope, this can also help with the "command:1" message.
