gradshdf disabled problem in fc4

Hi,
  This seems to be a "old" question, but after checking the List archives on Subject "new tarball for fedora core",I was confused again...
  It seems that Saurabh Barve first got All functions on without dyn-supplibs then failed with enable-dyn-supplibs?

  Here is my problem:
  I download "Patrice Dumas tarball"  just days ago

  ./configure --enable-dyn-supplibs --with-readline --with-printim --with-lats --with-gui --with-nc --with-dods --with-hdf --with-x --with-netcdf=/usr/local/bin --with-netcdf-include=/usr/local/netcdf/include --with-netcdf-libdir=/usr/local/netcdf/lib --with-hdf4=/usr/local/hdf4 --with-hdf4-include=/usr/local/hdf4/include --with-hdf4-libdir=/usr/local/hdf4/lib

  then in the configure output, it shows

  checking for udunits.h... (cached) yes
checking for utInit in -ludunits... (cached) yes
checking for SZ_BufftoBuffCompress in -lsz... no
checking for deflate in -lz... yes
checking for jpeg_start_compress in -ljpeg... yes
checking for Hopen in -ldf... no
checking for mfhdf.h with compiler... yes
checking for mfhdf.h with preprocessor... yes
- gradshdf (HDF-SDS/netCDF) build disabled

  all other things,  gradsc/gradsnc/gradsdods enabled

  Besides, I had a check error in building  HDF 4.2r1 on "HDF-SD C interfaces tests", but some(http://ak.aoos.org/dev/hdf4.html) told me just ignore it, and then I have "make install" passed. Could that be the point?
