time steps & tloop

Hi everybody,
Could you please help me:
having CRU temp MONTHLY anomalies (1851-2005) (NCDF file)  I would like to
make bar graphs of anomalies averaged over some area for INDIVIDUAL months
only, eg January, how to skip in tloop other months??

I tried everything I found: defining, modifing variables, trying to set time
with a time step : NOTHING works!

the command is very simple:
d tloop(aave(temanom,lon=15,lon=25,lat=50,lat=55))

but it makes a graph for consecutive time steps: jan, feb ....

Maybe someone had similar problem .....
