Is there a bug in alpha version of GrADS1.9b4?

hi, everyone,

 I've tried to use GrADS1.9b4 in alpha platform to
open ECMWF NetCDF file, however, there come some error
informations, i.e.,

Grid Analysis and Display System (GrADS) Version 1.9b4

Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies (COLA)
Institute for Global Environment and Society (IGES)
GrADS comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY

Config: v1.9b4 32-bit little-endian readline sdf/xdf
netcdf lats athena printim

Issue 'q config' command for more information.

Landscape mode? (no for portrait):

However, when I tried to open it in another platform,
say sgi irix6.4,  with the same version, everything is
ok.

So I'm wondering whether the alpha version has a bug
to open nc file.

BTW, the head information of the nc file is listed in
the followings,
