Reading NetCDF

Lixin,
Before you run gradsc, run the unix command 'which gradsc' and see  
whether you are indeed running the executable packaged in the 1.9b4  
tarfile. I suspect that your old build is in your path (or you have  
it set up as an alias) and you are executing that version without  
realizing it.
