grib2ctl.pl

Pls, if i have this problem what can i do, i have the c code of wgrib downloaded yet i'm having this trouble.
 [root at b129pc124 UKdata]# wgrib -verf -V AF.MN.MLV.FC.D00*.grib
 bash: wgrib: command not found

 Pls i need help!
