PowerPC & Redhat

Dear GrADS Users,

I am trying to use GrADS on an IBM cluster of PowerPC 970 chips running
Redhat Linux. http://wright.es.its.nyu.edu/max/index.shtml

I did not see anywhere an available binary for this platform so I downloaded
the source and tried to compile.  The configure worked but the make
instantly ran into trouble and failed.

I am unable to figure out what is wrong.  Do you have any suggestion as to
how I can get a GrADS binary built for my platform?
