Creating Binary Dataset

Neil,

There is GrADS documentation, with some examples, at:
http://grads.iges.org/grads/gadoc/aboutgriddeddata.html#structure

Also, please find attached a Fortran 77 program called "tseries.f" which
generates a simple GrADS dataset and ctl file; I hope this helps, and
if you have any questions about it, just let me know, OK? One thing
you'll have to check on is whether your computer is "little_endian" or
"big_endian" (this is for the GrADS ctl file "options" record, which is
not really needed if you don't try to open the dataset on a different
computer with different characteristics from the computer on which the
dataset was generated -- please also see
http://grads.iges.org/grads/gadoc/descriptorfile.html#OPTIONS )

Thanks,
Chuck
