Not even close. I don't believe the user is even using a DDF (Data
Descriptor File; you mention a .ctl suffix, >sigh<); he's using the
SDF interface. The messages indicate an old version where the build
accidentally went out with some debugging prints enabled. More likely,
the problem relates to X11 display settings/permissions.
